Nora Fatehi is one of the few foreign actresses that have made a name in the Hindi film industry. After a humble start, she is now a successful actress and dancer in Bollywood with a latest hit, Mudgaon Express. Fatehi has now stirred up the internet by talking about how ‘feminism has f**ked up our society’ by providing erroneous definition of ideology.

In her appearance on YouTuber Ranveer Allabadia’s podcast, Nora Fatehi said, ”This idea of I don’t need anybody. Feminism. I don’t believe in this shit. In fact, I think, feminism f**ked up our society. The idea of being inherently completely independent and not having to get married and have kids and not having the male and female dynamics at home where the man is the provider, a breadwinner and the woman is the nurturer”.

She continued, ”I don’t believe in people who think that’s not true. I think women are nurturers, yes, they should go to work and have their own life and be independent but to a certain extent”. She wasn’t done yet. The actress continued, ”They should also be ready to take on the role of being a mother, a wife and a nurturer. Just like a man should be ready to take the role of being a provider, a breadwinner and a father and a husband. We call it an old-school, traditional way of thinking. I call it the normal way of thinking”.

Nora Fatehi further said, ”It’s just that feminism fucked it up a little bit. We are all equal in more sentimental things but in societal things, we are not equal. Feminism inherently, on the base level, is great. I also advocate for women’s rights, I also want girls to go to school. However, when feminism becomes radical, it becomes dangerous for the society”.

Her views have left the internet divided. On one hand, people are calling her ‘intelligent and brave’ for ‘telling the truth’. On the other hand, many are appalled by her statement considering how career-driven she is. However, both the sides are equally surprised to hear the 32-year-old actress’ views on feminism.

One netizen wrote, ”someone tell nora fatehi that the only reason she’s financially independent, can speak what she wants, wearing what she likes, is all because of feminism” while another wrote, ”We need more celebrities like Nora Fatehi in our society who can speak truth that’s uncomfortable to Woke, Leftists & Feminists!!”.
