Kareena Kapoor Calls Singham Again ‘Completely Male Testosterone Film’; ‘Deepika Padukone And I Have Strong Parts’

Kareena Kapoor Khan is all set to make her debut in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe, Singham Again. The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Akshay Kumar. Deepika Padukone will also make her debut in the franchise as a maniacal cop named Shakti.

In an interview with Variety, Kareena Kapoor talked about the abundance of masculine energy in the movie considering there are five lead actors starring in it. However, she does not seem fazed by it and believes that her and Deepika’s roles will stand out just as much.

She described Singham Again as a ‘completely male testosterone movie’ and said, ”There’s Deepika (Padukone) and me in the film, where we have very strong parts. But obviously it’ll be really different, it is the big ticket Bollywood bonanza for this year, and I’m sure people will enjoy that”.

Kareena Kapoor will play the role of Avni Bajirao Singham in the film. Rohit Shetty introduced her as his ‘strength’. He wrote, ”Meet the strength behind Singham…Avni Bajirao Singham…We first worked together in 2007…3 blockbusters till now-Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, Singham returns…”

He continued, ”And now working on our fourth project… Singham Again…16 year long association. Nothing has changed, Bebo is still the same, simple, sweet and hardworking”.
