For those who don’t know who I am, I am Subham Roy, the founder, and owner of Marmikh.

Marmikh, the meaning of this word is ‘touching’. The idea of this entire start-up was simple -To create a place for the youth where they don’t have to worry about the media being manipulated.
I often get asked, why this particular name? I mean judging by the target audience and the trend that we are flowing through, isn’t it a little off the color?
To that, my answer has always been simple.
“Once, there was a hero, a person of great principle and courage with concrete ethics. He was torn apart by years of communal demoralization in his own motherland.
But one day, he decided that enough was enough. He started a movement to give his people equal status. Thus, started the legacy of Marmik (the original one).
Days went by and people started connecting and finally, that man became the legend by creating the most ideologically correct political party in India, The Shiva Sena.
That man was the tiger of India, Bal Keshav Thackrey, or with respect, Bala Saheb Thackrey.”
I grew up following his ideas and understanding the value of solid ideology. And one day, it all ended.
Bala Saheb was dead.
Some might say that being a fan of him is a completely irrational statement. And they might be right (in their own head). In reality, it’s completely justified.
What separates a leader from a politician?
The entire ideology of a politician revolves around the concept of acquiring the chair.
A leader, on the other hand, never has that as his primary goal. The ideology of his team is what matters to him.
About the above-mentioned context, a cartoonist turned entrepreneur turned leader turned editor turned politician, but never the Chief or the Prime Minister, despite being the most popular political figure of Maharashtra.
That alone defines how good he was as a person and as a leader.
The Downfall of a Legacy:
We know that the king might have a better or a worse successor but never the same. But the complete destruction of a legacy, isn’t that a little too intense?
After the sad death of Bala Saheb, it was certain that the Shiva Sena will no longer have the glory intact.
While some might suggest that Mr. Raj Thackrey was a better-suited leader ( and I agree to that to some point), the division happened before the demise of Bala Saheb.
Unfortunately, succession to the throne made Mr. Uddhav Thackrey the most powerful man of Maharastra but he lacks the will.
As a result, once, the pride Shiva Sena, a symbol of justice and honor started degrading and by 2018, it started losing its original existence.
The new leader became the Chief Minister and made sure that the ideology of his father of remaining a leader and not a politician gets dumped. While some might suggest that 2019 was the glorious return of Shiva Sena, the cost was a little too big.
Shiva Sena was no longer the statement of glory with the founder’s ideology gone to waste.
The final nail in the Coffin:
Not going to lie, I was a so-called Bhakt of the Shiva Sena and still loved the party for what it was. The founder was a national hero and you can’t expect that to the successors. I can make peace with that.
But the recent investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput’s case splashed the name of Aditya Thackrey as the primary suspect. Also, he was supposed to be a prime suspect of Sushant’s manager and it was not a suicide.
But the police, the media, the party, and the Bollywood manipulated the facts to an extent where everything was blurred.
Thanks to the relentless effort of Mr. Arnab Goswami, the case is now handed over to the CBI.
My question is if Aditya Thackrey is found guilty, will he be treated like Salman Khan or Afzal Guru?
Now, everyone raising their forehead skin here is the reason to compare Aditya Thackrey to a profound terrorist.
Law is the same for everyone. So, a rapist and a murderer must face what he deserves.
Using the power granted by your grandfather (since he is the founder of the party) who worked as a national hero his entire life to manipulate the government is ethically incorrect.
The primary objective of that great man, for ‘One United Nation’ (Purna Swaraj Hindutva) is tarnished by his grandson. If the manipulation of democratic rights and political position is not devastating, I don’t know what else is.
If India is a democracy (which it is) and everyone has their right to preserve their heritage and culture as part of freedom of expression (that’s the foundation of Muslim law and their teachings in madrasas are), then he, being a member of the mighty Rajputana community, doesn’t deserve the idea of VIR BHOGYA VASUNDHARA? Clearly, the guilty (if proven guilty by the CBI) should also face the rightful justice of the Rajputana community as far as the constitution of India permits it to.
My Terminating Statement:
The reason why I created this blog was to pay tribute to my hero, Bala Saheb Thackrey. His idea of Purna Swaraj Hindutva, meaning the entire idea of one united super country from Cuttack to Attak must never die.
But unfortunately, it’s lost. And there is no one to revive it anymore.
And this is a public statement from my side. If you think that Shiva Sena still has the valor of Bala Saheb, make sure the son doesn’t protect the grandson if found guilty.
